Unusual to find a piece from this era that is made entirely of copper including the handle and levers that attach and lift the lid. 63 cms maximum height with handle in raised position and lid closed. 31 cms approximate maximum width of body. 39 cms approximate depth of body from front to back.    A charming well worked hand beaten Vase (1 of 2 being listed at the same time with slight condition differences). Its fully stamped to the base by W H Mawson who was a valued member of Keswick School of Industrial Arts & set up his own business in the same town in the year 1900.    Fabulous Victorian copper or brass lantern. The metal is in lovely untouched/uncleaned condition although there are some paint splats. S for electrics which are now cut and will need re-wiring. The cut glass shade does have damage, a large crack running down but it still hold firm and is partially hidden behind one of the upright rods. There is also a smaller much less obvious crack.    Antique Stained Glass / Copper Lamp Shade. Handmade Arts and Crafts, late 18th / early 20th Century. I believe the frame is copper as there is a degree of verdigris on the inside, but I cannot confirm this. Overall height (including finials): 13 inches. Condition: Used and in need of restoration. There is a break in the top frame (photographed) and a very heavy glue has been used on each corner. The stained glass frames need some securing to stabilise them. Featuring a broken pediment top over double shelves, over twin panelled door cabinet with copper handle, enclosing a single shelf over double row of small drawers. All with brass knob handles.
